Short version: We collect the personal details and love story information you share with us in order to create your custom song. We don't sell your data. We never share it with third parties except the tools we use to build and deliver your song.

  • Fill out our Love Story Questionnaire (your names, relationship details, memories, preferences, and other personal story information)
  • Place an order (name, email address, and payment information processed securely through our payment provider)
  • Contact us by email
  • Browse our website (automatically collected: pages visited, browser type, device type, IP address, and referring URL via Squarespace analytics)

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, financial account details beyond what is necessary to process your payment, or health information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create your custom wedding song using the story details you provide
  • Deliver your completed song and lyrics to you via email
  • Process your payment and send order confirmation
  • Respond to your questions or support requests
  • Improve our service and website experience
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your personal story information for marketing purposes, and we do not share it publicly without your explicit written consent.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

To provide our service, we work with the following third-party providers. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Your questionnaire responses are transmitted to OpenAI and Suno only for the purpose of creating your song. We do not authorize these providers to use your data for any other purpose.

4. Cookies and Tracking

Our website is hosted on Squarespace, which uses cookies to enable core site functionality, analytics, and performance monitoring. By using our website, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with Squarespace's cookie policy.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to advertisers. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not function correctly as a result.

5. How We Protect Your Information

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. These include:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted to and from our website
  • Secure, access-controlled storage of questionnaire responses
  • Use of industry-standard, PCI-compliant payment processing via Stripe

No method of internet transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have concerns about the security of your data, please contact us.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to:

  • Deliver your completed song
  • Handle any revision requests within the period covered by your package
  • Comply with our legal and financial record-keeping obligations (typically 7 years for transaction records)

Your love story questionnaire responses are not retained beyond 90 days after song delivery unless you have an active revision request. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Sharing Your Story Publicly

We will never share, publish, or use your personal love story details or song for marketing, social media, or promotional purposes without your explicit written consent. If you'd like to share your song as a testimonial or give us permission to use it as a demo sample, we'll send you a separate consent form.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
